ssh public key authentication stops working

after I copy the .pub key using the sshcopyid command.. I also use ssh agent to store my private key. I delete the identity once I’m done ssh’ing. Authentication works fine but after the router reboots..its breaks.. and then I have to copy the .pub again even though it already exists on server.

let me know what you need to assist troubleshooting?
