Hi - my Pro ET12 router hangs every few days so I've had to schedule a daily reboot (its an otherwise great bit of kit giving excellent coverage and speed). When this happens my ipv4 and ipv6 addresses change. The ipv4 update is handled by the router (dnsomatic) but this wont handle the ipv6 update so I'm trying to get the router to run a cron job to do this. The router doesn't have a USB port so I cant use that trick to run a script at startup and the jffs2_exec or ffs2_exec nvram variables dont seem to work either.
Does anyone know of a way to either -
a) leave the crontabs file intact at reboot
b) run a script at boot to copy the crontabs file to the correct directory from jffs
c) update an ipv6 address using the routers menus (I have a domain name so dont want to use a free ddns ipv6 name)
(no merlin firmware available as yet for this router)
Thanks !
