Hi Is there a way to assign a static IP address on a wireless connection for 1 device? If so how? I would like to assign a static IP address on my tv. All other connections and devices can remain DHCP
Yes (if you mean a DHCP reserved IP address). LAN - DHCP Server > Manual Assignment. Otherwise, a "static" IP address is set on the client device in it's network configuration.
Simply set the TV to manual and configure the ip.
It will remain static just fine.
One point
I start all of my DHCP clients at .100
I use all the ips from .2 to .99 for my static groups.
So my Sony tv is static at .55 and can't interfere with DHCP call out.
