Hello,

I have two RT-5300 asus router in different houses. I have in one of them one hard disk connected to it.

What i want is to see my movies from the router that doesnt have the HDD to the one that has... Is there any way to do this?
Ive checked the aicloud options but all requieres a second HDD connected to the otehr router so you can sync, etc.. but i want only to watch movies

Thank you

I've played with this. Set up an OpenVPN server on the router with the HDD. Set up an OpenVPN client on the other (or better, on the PC that will screen the movie. You'll need a lot of upload bandwidth on the server, and similar download bandwidth on the client side. That's why downloading it first and then watching the downloaded copy locally makes more sense.

Tivo to Tivo I've found you need TAP and TCP, not TUN and UDP.
