Symantec VPNFilter Check

“Symantec has developed VPNFilter Check, a free online tool to help individuals and organisations quickly determine if their router might have been compromised by the VPNFilter malware.”

With all the stuff I run to defend myself from 'nasties' including AB-Solution, Skynet + various Anti-virus & Anti-malware s/w ....... I find that the button on the Symantec Page has nothing behind it !!!
It is just a green rectangle with a label ???!!! o_O

Judging by the amount of Scripts etc that are on the page just to allow me to have the button to press , I think I am better off without it all. :D

Thanks Symantec BUT no thanks !!! ;):D

I’ve got AB-Solution and Skynet running but perhaps not the variety of extras you have, and it worked for me. Or at least it did once I stopped pecking even harder on the screen and spotted the box that had to be ticked just above the button: “Click here to indicate that you have read and agree to the terms of the VPNFilter Check Terms of Use .”

Now I don’t expect anyone to read the terms of use, but did you read the bit where you’re claiming you’ve read them? Perhaps that’s the why button sat there doing sweet FA.
