Synology DiskStation DS411J or HP Windows Home Server EX-485

I'm debating between these two options. Right now I'm using a Dlink 2 bay NAS.
My needs are:

1. file serving
2. streaming
3. bittorrent download
4. ftp
5. schedule backup which include 2 mac laptops

I'd like to have some redundancy. I'll be backing up to a external USB HDD as well.

WHS is nearing end of life. The newest incarnation of it has it's predecessor's main feature removed. So few in the know want WHS.

Better off with Synology or QNAP, small, maybe diskless and you shop for a deal on drives.
