Synology DS-508: How much should I pay?

Synology DS-508 from 2008.

How much is it worth? Would you recommend it or should I go for something else? I'm going to use it for 3 x 2TB WD Greenies.

First, I suggest you check the compatibility list to make sure your WD Green disks are on it. The Green disks can be problematic with most NAS products so check and confirm. Also make sure the suffix of the model number matches and read the tech notes.
