Powered by a Broadcom ARM Cortex-A7 900 MHz CPU and 128 MB DDR3 memory, the new Tenda AC9 dual-band AC1200 router delivers a maximum link rate of 867 Mbps at 5 GHz, and 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz.

Sporting two high gain antennas for wireless connections, the new router also includes 4 GbE LAN ports, 1 GbE WAN port, and a USB 2.0 port for file and printer sharing.

Other AC9 features include WPS, parental control, beam forming, VPN, and power-saving. Additionally, the AC9 can be remotely managed using the Tenda mobile app, allowing users to check connections, run diagnostics, and check Wi-Fi scheduling when needed.

Priced at $69.99, the AC9 is available now through the Tenda website and Amazon.com.

Mobile management is kind of funny, considering how little most of us want to hear from or even think about inexpensive WiFi routers once we have them running.

Interesting to see how its wireless performance will compare with the (also 867Mbps nominal 5ghz speed) $55 dollar EdiMax BR-6478ac, that sadly will not converse with an iPhone.

looks copied from ASUS? :)
