Thecus’ N8910 is an 8-bay rack-mountable NAS that uses Intel’s Core i3 6100 Dual Core 3.7GHz processor+ Intel C236 chipset. It includes 4 GB DDR4 memory, upgradable to 64 GB. Designed for SMBs, the N8910 was built to handle heavy workloads and secures its payload with AES 256-bit volume encryption.

The N8910 supports 2.5”/3.5” inch drives (HDD/SDD), and includes two GbE ports, one HDMI interface, four USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports. The NAS also has a PCIe slot for an additional USB adapter card or to upgrade the NAS to 10GbE networking.

For backup and DR, the ThecusOS7-running N8910 can utilize services like Dropbox, ElephantDrive and Amazon S3, as well as System Failover and Snapshot Backup.

Thecus hasn’t announced pricing for the N8910, however the new NAS will be available at the end of June, 2017.
