Thecus N4560 not found in network

Hi everyone,

just got my N4560, put in the HDDs and plugged it in according to instructions. However, Intellitent NAS does not find it, so I cannot even create a RAID. The NAS itself doesn't display an IP, both for WAN and LAN they are always blank.

Tried a couple of reboots, connecting the laptop to the ethernet, all without success.

Any suggestions?

Hi,
Tried different cable? Fix IP address at both ends and reboot both NAS and router. What is default port for NAS? Try to ping the NAS. I am using Synology box. Also IP scanner
maybe useful for trouble shooting. I use Angry IP scanner.

maybe the ethernet switch is not cooperating?
Try a different wiring scheme.
