Hi, a general question (as it would be important for ovpn):
Currently, I am using an Asus RT-AC87U with 384.7_2.

Question:
Will there be a support fo openssl1.1.1x or better TLS1.3? Currently the less secure (or unsecure) version 1.0.2p is included.
What would be the precondition, any dependency on Asus?

Alternatively which (current or next) Asus-Router will support a ovpn config with TLS1.3?

Thanks for any suggestion/adivise.

Asus would need to upgrade OpenSSL to 1.1.1. I cannot do it because of numerous precompiled bits requiring 1.0.2.

Yeah I am not sure how much Asus keeps up with these threads, but I'll put in my vote for upgrading openssl. Hopefully Asus doesn't get to far behind on this matter.

Non-trivial for many reasons...

In any event, doesn't impact one's client PC/Device to Internet host, as this is all passed thru...
