tp link r480t+ DUAL WAN router INIT SETUP

New Around Here
Hello to all, new member here and looking for instructions on how to setup my tp link r480t+.

My hardware is:

2 adsl modem-routers given from the ISPs
1 switch
2 computers
1 QNAP TS110 NAS
and the tp link r480t+

I tried connecting the computers and NAS to the switch...ok...everything can see each other.

I connected the switch to the LAN port on the tp link r480t+.
I connected the 2 adsl modem/routers (no bridging option though...) to the WAN ports of the tp link r480t+

What setttings must I do in order to be able to share both connections to all LAN pcs and NAS?

I tried the instructions TP LINK has but at no use....

Anyone can help? appreciated...

In case someone is having same problems here is what i did and made it work after all....

- put both modems in bridge mode, disable all settings (NAT, firewalls, port forwarding, DHCP! etc). Write down the MAC address of each modem.

- connect them to the wan gates
- in each pc/laptop you connect to the LAN ports, make sure you give it a static IP and set the gateway to the ip of the TP LINK plus primary DNS the same as gateway.

- if you wanna have wifi, then connect a wifi router to one of the LAN ports in TP LINK, and assign it a static IP.

In DHCP settings in TP LINK, set the address reservations for all devices according to their MAC Address.

this should get everyone started...more in time!

have fun...
