Traffic log on NAS-share?

Hi!

I read that the Merlin FW can mount shares from external devices.. So I was wondering if this means that the traffic log can be stored on say an NAS? As I understand it, you'd need user scripts at boot which I have no experience with and it's currently not enabled.

What I'd like to do is to mount the nas-share, let's say \\readynas\trafficlog, then put my existing traffic log (currently stored on a USB) in the new location, and then make the router use that location for storing the traffic data instead, and for the same of making the solution permanent I think I'd need to be a boot script.. But how would I go about with this? Is it even possible?

This is possible. But there is a caveat using a mounted share: depending on when that share gets mounted at boot you might lose the log as the share is not ready.

I currently have the log on a USB-drive and there hasn't been any problems. But I suppose if network shares are initiated later than USB-drives would be, that could be a problem.
