Traffice Monitoring MAC and File Format

a) is it difficult to switch to monitoring with mac address than ip address?

I think that would make it much more easier for wireless devices which I dont like to give static IP. (windows can not handle ip setups per wireless connection.)

b) how is the file format of the stored traffic data?

b) how is the file format of the stored traffic data?

a) Cannot be done. Traffic monitoring is done at level 3, not level 2, and would be undecipherable for the majority of users if it started using cryptic MAC addresses anyway.

b) Binary format, accessible through the Traffic Monitoring pages.
