Connectivity is Spectrum 200/10. Seven workstations are involved, not counting printers. Three systems' traffic is generally email, and a different one is only utilized on off hours remotely (the VLAN'd).

The current configuration is an EOL Cisco RV130W and two dumb switches, one of which is only 10/100. Traffic is at times 1-2 RemotePC connections and generally 3-5 directly connected users. One system is VLAN'd out to separate it from the others on the network, with its own network-connected NAS.

The goal is a new SMB router with basic VPN capabilities (for the future) and some option to separate out connections from the LAN/file shares. Comfort in Cisco's offerings exists due to their proven track record with support offerings (e. g. continued firmware updates). The switches being smart would be a welcome improvement if the budget requirement is not far greater.

Networking is not a second language and questions will be addressed. Any recommendations, including Ubiquiti or otherwise, will be appreciated. TIA

P. S. Is 10mbps upload insufficient, factoring two concurrent remote connections and another two email/spotify'ers?
