Upgrading router

I currently have an ac68u and just got an ac88u. I'd like to transfer settings over as well as my diversion lists etc. What is the best way, or should I just start from scratch and set up as new?

Best to set up from new when moving to a different router. Taking screenshots of your current setting will help set the new router up.

and reformat/wipe the USB device you were using for the entware drive, unless you're buying a new one. best to start fresh there as well.

v386.9 has been released - if you've not upgraded yet, that's the one to flash: The feedback on the alpha and beta versions prior has been excellent.

When I setup my new router recently, I used FireFox and did a "save as web page" of all the screens on the old one so that it preserved all the settings and you can copy/paste from the saved HTML pages. Worked like a charm and was helpful with the MAC address listing etc....

Thanks! I used the latest firmware and changed the base ip of my old router and connected via cable, then connected wirelessly to the new and had 2 tabs open and just copied most settings over.
