I am a little confused here, i run merlins latest firmware but this happens to me with other builds to. I am also on the 64k cfe
I installed an sdcard to the router to backup my stuff it was formatted FAT filesystem it just worked straight out of the box.
Now i have a 8 gb USB stick wich i formatted ext2 for optware.
So first i install download master nothing strange will happen. And it will just work but after that i run ipkg and install rddtools and stuff i configure them.
And after a couple of minutes i cant even see directories in winscp. I have no longer permissions to do anything with telnet.
Even a reboot wont help, i really have to pull the usb fr the router.
Will ipkg and optware run on ntfs ? Because i had enought of this strange ext2 and ext3 it gives me to much trouble with this router. You can install download master on a ntfs partition so i dont see why optware could not?
Can someone explain it to me please and are there people that had this bug to or is my router defect ?
* EDIT
I now found that it was not the cause of EXT2 EXT3 it was installing bash that would make a lot of trouble i still dont really know how to solve it but this is a start
