Hello!
I have Asus RT-AC68R with external usb 3.0 HDD. Firm ware is 3.0.0.4.374.39 Merlin build.
There is LED light on the hard drive which indicates activity. It is solid when HDD is active and it's blinking fast when there are any requests to HDD. HDD used to go to "sleep" or stand by mode on ASUS firmware when there were no request. It wen to stand by after 10-15 mins, but now it is always active. I can hear the sound of hdd rotation constantly... I am not sure it is very good. Maybe I missed some settings? Please help

i using Firmware:374.40 (Merlin build)

set it under

Tools - Other Settings
Disk spindown idle time (in seconds)
0 = disable feature

i set 1200

i see below in my System Log - General Log

Mar 15 14:51:33 sd-idle-2.6[247]: spinning down /dev/sda after 20 mins
