USB Relay Controller

Hi,

I found these cheap USB Relay Controllers on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/bhp/usb-relay-controller
Can we use it on an Asus router (Merlin firmware)?
They say it uses HID technology (no driver needed I guess), but I have no idea how to control them from the router.

I have try it, however it says "no data available" if you try to connect that device.

Seems like an Asus Tinker Board or Raspberry Pi might be a better solution - more memory, better storage options, and a richer SW environment.
