Use port 443 for GUI https on the LAN

I tried to use port 443 in the GUI for https on the LAN, but the GUI doesn't let me do it, it says it's reserved for the Cloud. Well, I don't use the cloud or have any USB drives attached or any plans to do so.
Is there any way to disable the check and allow 443 to be used by the GUI web server?

My current workaround is to use "nvram set ..." to change the ports. Is this acceptable? Could the firmware be enhanced to allow 443 if Cloud is not used (or even set a custom port for the cloud)?

Go to the AiCloud -> Settings tab, and change the current port from 443 to something else (like 9443). That will free up port 443 for you to use with the main webui.

The port gets enforced regardless of whether AiCloud is currently running or not, because otherwise, you would run into issues if you turned AiCloud on later on while you already had the webui using port 443.

I see. Trouble is that in AP Mode (which is what I'm using and I should have mentioned it) there is no AiCloud > Settings.

Switch to router mode, change the setting, then switch back to AP mode.
