Use WoL on AC88U to wake both PC and NAS - How to?

I have an AC88U running Merlin as-per my signature.

I would like to use the routers WoL feature to wake both my PC and NAS but in an 'unattended mode'. I realize that there is already a WoL tab in the GUI, and it does work but it has to be manually implemented.

Is it possible to set up a CRON job to instigate WoL for individual devices on my LAN?

For example: I want to start my PC and NAS at 04:30 every day.

well, I have NAS and PC and both can be configured to be turned on whenever I want via their own user interface/BIOS settings.

Yes, I currently do it that way, but wanted try directly from the AC88U.

That's quite a bit more complicated (i.e., wake up "on demand" rather than scheduled), but I think you could easily isolate the portions that do the actual wake command, and call them from cron.

Read up on the Wiki on how to create a custom script, and use the "cru" command to create a cron job taht will run the ether-wake program at the desired time.
