New Around Here
Hi guys, I just recently purchased a RT-AC66U in the hopes that it provided enough coverage to get through the obstacles in my house, it falls short by a few feet. My old router is a WL-520GU, I've read that it can be used as a bridge but I've never done that before, additionally from what I'm reading is I should change it's firmware from the default GUI to Tomato or DDWRT, I've never done this as well. I'm looking for the simplest most stable way to accomplish this with or without changing the firmware, preferably without, if anyone can help.

Edit: The WL-520GU is actually running DD-WRT
