Utube ad-blocker works great

Hello members and TheLonelyCoder.
I just wanted to say it seems this experimental utube mechanism works great so far.
During its installation I was told to watch a tube clip with an ad or two and then after that there were no ads.
I started edge browser and watched about 100 clips and I got no ads.
My Samsung TV which is a UE32J6275 with built-in utube displayed an add and then I started more then 100 clips without any ads.
my iPhoneSE visiting utube in safari also seems to work.
My Sony KDL65W855A however using built-in utube throws an "internal browser error" and promts user to exit utube.
This is supposedly because Sony wants to connect to ad doubleclick, google or whatever otherwise it throws a tantrum.
Overall I think utube ad-block works good even in this experimental stage.
I like the idea having a separate mechanism for utube and maybe in time more separate specialised blockers could be added.
A special thanks to TheLonelyCoder and everyone else involved in these type of developments.
/Peter

The YouTube video ads blocker would only block the inline video ads. The overlay static ads are blocked by the regular Diversion blocking which I believe you think the YT video ads blocking feature does. However, this feature does not work and will be removed with the next Diversion release.

Thanks for answering.
Yes I think most modern youtube TVs get upset when they cant display the static add shown at the top
when starting youtube in TVs.
If I have understood it correctly, you will remove diversions ability to block static ads when yt-blocker is enabled?

I believe the yt-blocker will be removed entirely. It was experimental when introduced, now it will be depreciated.
