VPN Routing

I am trying to route a couple of cable STB's around my VPN. If I go into VPN client and select 'redirect internet traffic through tunnel - VPN director (policy rules )' and save it I am unable to add a rule. There is no active field in VPN director rules. Do I need something else to enable?

Rules have to be added w/ the VPN Director tab itself. NOT within the specific OpenVPN client to which it applies.
