WAN and VPN dedicating DNS

Is there a way to dedicate specific DNS server for VPN clients and a separate DNS for WAN?
I have configured OPenVPN client with dhcp-option DNS and also configured WAN DoT and DNSCEC.
When using a client/computer on VPN tunnel and perform DNS leak test I get all DNS servers listed.

Have you set in your vpn client
accept dns configuration=exclusive?

Yes. That would work I think. Did not tried this since it would disable Diversion. My VPN dns is set to Strict.
