WebAdmin ceases to be accessible if left open overnight in Chrome?

AC86U, Merlin 384.8.

Mostly I leave the WedAdmin open on the Network Map, but (in Chrome) if I leave it open overnight it becomes inaccessible via http: (I have both http and https: access) the next day. I can sometimes access it using https://192.168.1.1:8443.

If I SSH in and issue service restart_httpd it becomes available via http again. Is this a known and expected behaviour? Is there any way to stop it behaving like this please?

yes, I have experienced that (firefox) and others have reported.

I now keep ssh enabled to address this.

You’re right, heaps of others have experienced it. Odd that it can’t be reproduced. I’m happy to troubleshoot if told how I can help.
