Hi Everyone,
I have a small network at home. I will have about 10TB of storage space on my main computer, I will probably have about 6TB used (at this stage). I want to have it constantly backed up. I have been looking up a few different ways of doing it, but would love a kick in the right direction.
I will build another computer to house the storage, and was wondering whether any type of RAID setup is appropriate? I don't know much about it but am pretty computer savvy and am happy to do my research. I know RAID is not a backup itself, but does the built in redundancy make a backup system more reliable? In short, I DO NOT want to lose any of my media (failing house fires etc).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
