What does the VID setting do ?

I need to know what the VID setting both stand for and do . I have googled it but it continually thinks I mean video and nothing comes up for VID settings on an RT AC 88 U router?

Could it be VLAN ID (VID)?

I had to do this on my phone but the settings under LAN/ IPTV
PS I should mention that I need to set the,, select ISP profile to manual setting before a pop down will appear with the VID and PRIO settings .
