What toolsets do you folks use to diagnose router/wifi issues?

I am running 384.12 on a Ac-1900P.

I have seen issues where the wifi drops its connection on my phone (LG-V30) and may even think it might be impacting call quality. We are in a congested cell area so I rely on wifi calling from the phone. Our Charter service is usually 120/10 and maybe have a dozen clients on the network at a time.

Is it time to upgrade the router? Does it have a problem?

Yes , similar but not identical. My phone runs on the 2.4 GHz band.

For Windows I use Acrylic WIFI analyzer. Android app is just called WIFI Analyzer.
I have no issues with my AC66U_B1 using a mix of Apple, Android, Windows, Linux and wifi cameras. Set 2.4 to fixed channel 1, 6 or 11. 5 GHZ to fixed of your choice.
