If I don't have 6wifi equipment, is it worth disabling the setting in the router? Another question, dfs setting, in what mode should it be set?

With no AX clients - I would disable AX for better compatibility. About DFS channels - I would use non-DFS channels only for better stability.

 

[L&LD]

For maximum performance regardless of the clients used, leave the WiFi mode to Auto.

Particularly for WiFi certified routers. Anything else will cripple the network over time.
