Windows Vista version for NAS

Marshall

Occasional Visitor
Hello all,

Will any version of Windows Vista connect to a Nas over a ethernet network?
Can you use Home Basic or Premium, or do you need Business.

Kind Regards
Marshall

You can use any version of Vista or any OS that supports the SMB protocol, which most do.

Thanks for replying, I'm switching my work PC's over to Apple iMacs, but I don't want to buy new versions of the Adobe Creative suite.
So I need to buy a version of windows Vista to run on Mac using Virtual Machine from Parallels. Both Imacs and two Windows XP Pro PC's will be networked to a Lacie 2big Nas using ethernet. So I guess I can purchase the Home Basic version.

Kind Regards
Marshall
