Wireless channel question

Will setting Wireless mode to AUTO, Channel Bandwidth to 80, have any adverse effects if all my clients are N and not AC? Or should I set Wireless mode to "N only" and Channel Bandwidth to 40?

This is for an ASUS router.

in 2.4GHz WiFi...
Use 20MHz channel width. Not 40.
80MHz would apply only to 5GHz band. I suggest using 20 or 40MHz.

Channel selection...
in 2.4GHz, non-Auto. Channel 1, 6 or 11 for 20MHz mode.
