I don't know if anyone cares to help but I thought I'd give it a try. I have limited knowledge with computer stuff, so have patience with me please. I have DSL internet service from AT&T with a Westell modem (provided by AT&T) that is connected via ethernet to an Apple Time Capsule that acts as my wireless router. The modem and Time Capsule are set up in Bridge Mode and connects via PPoE. I have a 2007 Macbook, an Ipad, a PS3, a wireless HP printer, and my DirecTV boxes on my wireless network. I have had the same setup for the past 18 months, however recently on an inconsistent but frustratingly frequent basis the light on my Time Capsule will begin flashing yellow and my airport utility will tell me that it is "Looking for PPoE host". The wireless signal will then be down for anywhere between 1-5 minutes and then will spontaneously start back up and work like normal. I've called AT&T and they say there is nothing wrong with the Westell modem. I've restarted and reset both the modem and the Time Capsule and double checked all my settings on Airport Utility with no success. I have no idea what else to try. Just wondering if anyone smarter than I has any ideas. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

try running the westell in gateway mode only and de-activate the routing portion of it if you can please if you'd like the time capsule to do the routing and your westell does modem only. or please run your time capsule in AP only mode and disable DHCP on it. please let me know how that works. thank you.
