Well i got to install a network for a company, the specifily demanded 2 smart switches and gigabit network, for now I think i use a HP ProCurve, unless someone can find something better. It will be a office network with at least 2 VLANs. So stick with the HP or any better ideas

It all depends on price, port count, and features needed. I've really liked my Linksys SLM2008, which has all the usual management features, and it can be had for about 100 bucks online. But if you need more features, better warranty, or something else, you get more by going with the big boys, like HP or Cisco. If all you need is gig-e and vlans, any inexpensive managed switch can get that job done.
