WNDR3700v1 Firmware 1.0.14.98

I recently upgraded to the latest WNDR3700v1 Firmware 1.0.14.98 and there is an AP-mode that I am most interested in. It uses the WAN port and appears to be some sort of "smart" AP-mode with Auto-IP where it automatically set-up everything.

Does anyone know if the max # of connection of 4096 still applies in this configuration?

Has anyone test this using the Matrix21 programs?

Haven't testing that particular firmware. But the 4096 simultaneous connection limit hasn't changed for any of the versions I've tried and is the same for the new generation WNDR4000.
