WNDR4000 vs WNDR3700

I am considering buying the WNDR4000. However, the bench numbers looks good according to http://bit.ly/KJL9j2 (675.8 Mbps) but not on the review http://bit.ly/MfLoIp (351 Mbps)...

Why is that and which are the correct numbers? Also, does anyone know if there are more the one version of the WNDR4000?

Also, should i consider the WNDR3700v2? All i care about is performance & stability (WAN-LAN, LAN-LAN and # of connections for torrents) Price, looks and functionality does not matter much.
