Would anyone here recommend the Synology DS923+ as an upgrade on a DS412+:)

Hello all, have a friend that is looking to upgrade and from what I see....the DS923+ might be the logical choice? Anyone here actually own one that can weigh in Good/Bad info always welcomed. It's always been tricky trying to help someone with backup choices since in my experience you really need ta have someone that can be onsite or remotely assist with the right knowledge when configuring or upgrading on such an important decision.

I upgraded about about nine months ago from DS718+ (which I sold) to DS923+. I added 16 GB RAM, 10 Gb Ethernet NIC (to attach to my 10 GBASE-T backbone), and 400 GB SSD cache (RAID 1). I was to easily migrate existing data using Synology Migration Assistant utility. Very happy with it.
