Xfinity & Motorola 8611 bandwidth bleed

Hi folks,

Having a recurring issue---my motorola 8611 paired with xfinity gig service degrades over a two week period--from 1.4gigs bandwidth on a reboot to around 85mbs two weeks later. A reboot solves the problem, but it recurs. Rinse and repeat. Any ideas on whats going on? Cant control the firmware, its controlled by xfinity.

between what two devices ?
anything in between them ?
