XT8 multiport as LAN port

I know that the RT-AX86U has a 2.5Gb multiport that can be set as either LAN or Wan. Can this also be done on the XT8? I see where as a node or AP the XT8 can use the 2.5Gb port as LAN, but can't tell if the main router node can reassign the WAN port to one of the gigabit LAN ports. Has anyone tried this? Thanks!
