Hello.

Upfront disclaimer - I am not a pro when it comes to networks/mesh/etc etc.

here is my issue. I have 2 ZenWifiAX set up as a mesh. i've had em since january and they have worked like a dream until the past two weeks. Now, I seem to get random but frequent disconnects when i am on a zoom/skype call, or weak signal warnings etc. I've tested this on three different laptops and the problem is the same. My ISP says there are no issues their end.

The firmware is the latest version, and i have tried deciphering the system log to see if there is anything i can identify there but it is beyond my capabilities. Also, the MAC address of the device that keeps disconnecting never appears in the syslog. Belowis the syslog from a moment ago, i had connectivity issues at about 14.03. The devices with MAC = EA:57:A6:29:C2:8C and 66:46:18:8B:5E:3E are iphones.

Does anybody have any clues as to what is happening/what i can do to remedy this? happy to answer any and all questions of course.

Appreciate your help!

thanks - i have done this now. first on the node, then the router. restarted both after this. the node just flashed blue incessantly, rebooted it a couple more times but same. so i have factory reset it but still cant get it to do anything but flash blue.
the router is working fine, but when i try and look at the airmesh either through the asus app or logging on to router.asus.com through my laptop, the page just hangs and hangs. i'm also now having intermittent issues actually being able to access the router.asus.com page.

any ideas?!? the positive is that i dont seem to be having disconnection issues...

mmhhh.. very strange behaviour!... If you have a config backup, I would try to hard reset both router and node (with WPS button method)

ok an update - i spent a couple of hours rebooting router and node and we are all fixed. dont know how, but thank you!
