ASUS RT-AC66U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.376.1123

3. A torrent downloading task may include multiple files and user can choose which files should be downloaded.

Just installed 3.0.0.4.376.1123 from Merlins 43 and I do not get a client status list any longer. Anyone else see this in AP mode? Always worked before...Did not do a reset but may try it later.

Still no DFS support available. Is there any hope for european users ?
I agree, without DFS (and TPC) 802.11AC support is literally USELESS in crowded areas in Europe. It leaves the user with only 1 (one) 80 MHz channel in the 5 GHz band which does not work in an average town with neighbors all around.
When does the wireless world wake up and slap the router manufacturers?
Stop buying those worthless non DFS 802.11AC routers!
Well, besides that, there are not many wireless client devices that support all the 802.11AC streams anyway.
My advice: stay with 802.11N as long as 802.11AC is only good for the manufacturers.

[EDIT]
Are there any real experiences with DFS support in the RT-68U (seems to be introduced in 3.0.0.4.374.4422)?
And here again: also the client device shall be DFS capable, which is the next issue.

Factory reset still no client list, however I do see # of clients connected. Client list is blank.

At least in my case there are issue s with this firmware. MY AC adapter no longer connects at speeds above 450. I set the 5GHz channel to 157 and it resets back to auto...stay away from this one.

Look forward to trying it out. But I have been using Download Master 3.1.0.88 for some months now with no issues.

I looked for it and it's not there under Other OS
I have the the latest Merlin build on there (RT-AC68U) but wanted to see what this does
I am not too impressed with this router
as of yet....

Yes as stated there is no new firmware for the AC68U 5656 is the latest Asus release for that model.

I'm seeing the same behavior. I have two AC clients and neither will connect at AC speeds. Can't get 80 MHz bandwidth no matter what settings I use.

Switched back to Merlin 374.43 and all is fine.

Went back to Merlin's 43 and all is back to normal. Asus must have messed this firmware up as I did see a reference to the N66R in the syslog in reference to the wireless drives. Unfortunately, the logs were overwritten so I dont the exact phrase. I doubt Asus monitors this but it might be a good idea to make them aware...

Filed a tech support call with Asus.

What you saw was probably the ufsd module referring to the RT-N66U. This is normal - this is the NTFS driver, and it's the same version used for N16/N66/AC66.

Thanks for clearing that up! The issues I mentioned were persistent and I even reset to factory defaults with no luck. However were resolved by re-flashing your 43 firmware. Thanks for all your hard work!

The source is simple to compile for once

only one missing file from the source

/asuswrt/release/src/router/wlconf/wlconf

it can be located in (on a running 3.0.0.4.376.1123 firmware)
/usr/sbin/wlconf

Not sure if we are talking about the same thing, but in the network map page, you can click on the clients icon and it will give you a list of online, wired, wireless clients. You can also get a list of DHCP leases in the systems log pages.

Yes except on my router with this firmware the list is empty. I also cannot get AC connection and beamforming is missing in the professional setup.

Merlins 43 or Asus stock 5517 installed and all goes back to normal. I opened a case with Asus.
