Firefox has a known bug in the processing for this page (I researched it when I was adding the option). The first attempt will always fail and there is no apparent workaround. Hit the Refresh button twice and it will work. I just verified again that that will work.

Chrome and IE work on the first attempt just fine.

Hi @john9527 a few days ago you said DNSSEC is up and running, could you merge the bandwith limiter?, no beta to mess around with yet? thanks! :D

Updated to V16E1 for my RT-N66U. Everything seems great so far. Thanks John!

Off topic question: My neighbor is using a Belkin router and for some reasons, their router always follows our router channel. For example, I saw their router channel was set at 6 via inSSIDer, I changed mine to 11. But sure enough the Belkin changed to 11 when I checked the day after. Anybody knows why this is the case? Is it causing any issues for your network? Hard to know if this is a Belkin baked in firmware design or the neighbor doing it manually?

If the Belkin is in 40MHz channel width mode and can't pick the exact opposite channel (channel 1), this would give their network the best performance by following yours. This is because the two radio's will be in sync when broadcasting (one will wait for the other) rather than simply getting 'noise' from an overlapping channel when they're not sync'd.

With your router on channel 11 now, can you try changing to channel 1 and see if it follows you there?

Can you ask your neighbor to check that it is in 20MHz channel width mode?

Do you have an old router to use on a fake channel so the Belkin stops following your real network? :)

Don't know.....but my Roku does the same thing (channel used for a paired remote). It's channel follows whatever channel I set on the router.

Same here. The Roku seems to pop up every minute or so to see if there is an access point to log on to--even when I have configured it for wired Ethernet only!

I finally logged it on to a router on a channel where its persistence will not interfere with the iPad-based remote control for my A/V system.

It is interesting how the Roku with direct wifi remotes work. They do indeed follow what ever channel your router is set to that said I don't seem to notice any interference or even speed reductions even if I place another device right next to th Roku player. One would think having two devices on the same channel would cause problems. I do think Roku should change this design or at least allow for changing what channel the direct wifi and remote use to communicate.

This has been discussed in length in the Roku forums some people say it destroys there home wifi network. As mentioned I don't see any problems even having two Roku 3's on all the time. Sorry for the off topic post.

Patience...patience. What I thought might happen, happened. All the Adaptive QoS stuff made it so I wasn't able to directly import the gui portion, and it seems they changed something else in the page processing as well as I was getting a bunch of GetElementById failures in the javascript. After fighting it for over a day, I decided to just write the gui changes from scratch....but html work is at the bottom of my list of things I like to do

But, it's coming....starting testing now. Here's a tease :).....

How are limiters & standard QoS different?
Different tc qdiscs?

If it is easier for you to link to or hint to an area of the code for me to refer to, that is fine.

John,

I noticed the RX levels are gone in the wifi log section.(You only see ??)
It seems that they will come back after a couple of days of using the router, do not know how many days
today i resetted my router and noticed that again they are gone.

Always been there....you can search back in this thread for other reports. It's a bug in the MIPS wireless drivers. I've tried to work around it with retries, but no help. Just have to wait until the driver sorts itself out.

thanks, good to know it is a known issue.
not a big deal for me but i thought it could be related to other stuff.

any one here tried the asus app?
it always give a error for me when connecting.
im geussing because it is based on the old firmware.

I tried it this week and on both my Android devices it crashes right after entering your username and password.
