It's difficult time for us now if we should go further on the 380.60 and we might not be able to roll back. or we stick with 380.59 or Fork's

Not difficult at all. Try them all in order for yourself on your router and your network and WiFi environment. You will quickly see which one has the best range, throughput and available options for further features.

But to indefinitely stay with 380.59? That window has passed already, imo.

Too many security issues and other fixes have been plugged since then.

In a nutshell though for you; RMerlin firmware and the forks thereof of any particular (similar) build is better than what Asus offers as 'official' firmware. Past that, depending on the build you choose to test and your specific network environment, YMMV.
