Hey folks,
RT-AC88U running latest merlin release.
Are there any network triage tools built into merlin that I could leverage to try pinpoint where my network is acting up?
I've the last few days I've found the network connectivity on my network to be very poor, to the point that I've had to default back to the network on my broadband providors router. (this is what my RT-AC88U is connected to for WAN)
At all times I have WIFI and internal network access (and access to the portal) but I seemingly can't connect to the internet, then I'll get internet access but things will be slow.
I've looked at the System Logs within Merlin and the only thing jumping out at me is that I see a number of repeats regarding dnsmasq and the samba server starting. So I'm wondering if the router is restarting itself internally which might be causing it.
Obviously there are many reasons this could be acting up and the age of the router could be part of it. but any tools or advice on how to narrow down the issue would be appreciated!
