    I recently bought 2 TVS-463 NAS units and found the drive trays don't provide good airflow.     Will the QNAP NAS test new drives?

    Just got a new NAS and a bunch of new WD Reds now normally I would test the drive for bad sectors after installing it in my system and then put it into useage. If I just plug the new HDD into the fresh NAS (TVS-463) will it do this process for me before it tries to setup the RAID I want or...
