I tried connecting my PS3 via wireless last night and could not. Although the PS3 can see the SSID it will not connect. I step through the process of setting it up and everything goes normally, but it simply will not connect.
Has anyone else seen this issue? None of my other wireless devices...
Were you ever able to resolve this? I have the same thing happening when I try to use the router in AP mode. It will work for a few minutes then becomes inaccessible. I can still see the SSID's, but cannot connect.
That makes sense. I was just sort of surprised to see it. I have been seeing slowness issues after the router is up 2-3 hours and while dinking around after reboot and noticed.
Thanks for the response.
Here's a new thing that just started tonight:
My wireless was slow so I rebooted. After it finished I went in and looked at the management page. Low and behold when I looked at the system log page I noticed it said it was December 31st. NTP settings had not changed. Time zone had not changed...
Are you connecting with more than one device?
The reason I ask is I was seeing something similar. I finally noticed that the issue did not present itself with my wife's laptop nor with a laptop I brought home from work one night. Both of those devices connected just fine with "normal" speeds...
I have a similar issue with a RT-N66U. Devices connected to it lose the ability to access the internal network as well as the Internet after a short period.
I can check the wireless signal and it is strong and devices still connect to it. For whatever reason it just stops communicating...
If it is not possible to perform DHCP relay is it possible to speed up the AP mode? Speeds drop to one half on speed when running in router mode. Hardwire connection still is fine when in AP mode but wireless is very slow.
Thank you again.
Hello, new N66 owner. I am wondering if it is possible to setup the router to relay DHCP from my Netgear firewall. My previous wireless router allowed this but I am not seeing where it is possible with the Asus.
I would like to avoid switching to AP mode if possible as when I setup that way...
