how to check cpu size rt-68u

OK, processor 0 is 1998.84 bogoMIPS and so is processor 1. What does that mean in terms of my CPU speed?

WTF does it matter to you? God forbid I want to be knowledgeable about the products I buy. Thanks for your useless post though.

I just got my rt-68u and I want to see what the CPU size is. Is there a way to do that with the stock firmware?

    R7000 vs RT-AC68U - Confused Consumer

Thanks for all the help everyone. I traded in my Office Depot gift card, took a hit, and bought it from Amazon. Can't wait for it to get here!

    R7000 vs RT-AC68U - Confused Consumer

OF COURSE, I go to buy it from Office Depot & they discontinued selling it. I noticed it's out of stock at Amazon as well. I hope they aren't discontinuing it.

    R7000 vs RT-AC68U - Confused Consumer

Thanks for all the help everyone. I'm definitely getting the rt-ac68u. I'm actually going to be price matching at Office Depot with Amazon's $169 price (when they get back in stock). Anyways, thanks again for all the help. Hopefully, I'll get the 1Ghz model.

    R7000 vs RT-AC68U - Confused Consumer

1.4? You think I should message Newegg & ask them if that is the processor speed on the ones they have? I originally thought they were 800 Mhz, but I guess different variations are shipping out. It's about $30 cheaper right now at Newegg so I'm going to get it there instead of Office Depot...

    R7000 vs RT-AC68U - Confused Consumer

Wow, didn't know that Asus now has a 1 Ghz processor. The reason I'm being so picky is that I have to buy it from Office Depot (doing a price match with Amazon) and they only have a 14 day return policy. So, I'm trying to essentially see which one is more reliable. Two additional questions...

    R7000 vs RT-AC68U - Confused Consumer

I need a new wireless router and I'm having the hardest time deciding between the R7000 and RT-AC68U. If I understand correctly: *they now both have the same hardware. *The R7000 has a 1 Ghz processor while the RT-AC68U has a 800 mhz processor. Also, it seems that quite a few people install...

Noob looking for AC Router :(

I've read some reviews that say the R7000 drops frequently on 5 GHz. Granted, they are only a few bad reviews, but does anyone have experience with the R7000 at 5GHz level? Also, what 3rd party firmware would you recommend? XVortex Asus Merlin 378.54_2 Shibby's Tomato 129 NetGear Firmware...

Noob looking for AC Router :(

Thank you all for your suggestions. Everywhere I asked, the R7000 was overwhelmingly the favorite. So, I'm going to order that.

Noob looking for AC Router :(

I shouldn't have put that in. At the time I didn't understand about installing 3rd party firmware like DD-WRT or Tomato and using Open VPN. I'm going to update the OP momentarily. I'm now only deciding between the R7000 and AC68U.

Noob looking for AC Router :(

I'm looking for a new router to replace my dismal Linksys E4200. It overheats, apparently a common problem for that model. Shame about how bad Linksys has become. Anyways, I'll have about 10 devices connected to it (Roku, iphone, ipad, laptop, 5 Android phones, etc...). I'd really appreciate a...
