It's failing for me for some reason.
I have no functionality issued though like a couple of the beta's. I'm able to access my harmony and hue equipment just fine as well as my echos.
Thanks Eric!
Maybe try a different browser, I'm using FF and everything works fine.
I know that as of Beta 2 I was unble to communicate with local devices like hue, harmony. Echo couldn't communicate with these devices either.
Reflashing 380.64_2 and now I can directly connect to these devices again. Until then I would say just roll back and stay on that build if you need...
I am experiencing a similar issue with an 88U on alpha 4. I cannot connect to my harmony hub, hue bulbs, or my smart switches from within my network. I can connect through the respective devices account systems but at a degraded functionality since they don't let you do a lot of things remotely.
My connection is 25d/3u, I have 7 clients I am limiting. The main one is my nas, I have a continuous sync job for my surveillance recordings so as soon as a camera records a motion detection the nas backs it up to amazon cloud drive.
With the default scheduler I would have to limit my nas to...
I gotta say the fq_codel is awesome. Its so much better at capping clients vs the default scheduler. I hope it sticks around, I'm a heavy user of bandwidth limiting and it makes for much less (congestion) issues with a slower connection.
Anyone else have their bandwidth limiter QoS client list clearing out on its own? Is there a limit on how fast your connection is to use it? I've had no issues with it since release (88U) and today my ISP bumped me from 10 down to 25 down but all my clients keep clearing out. Tried factory...
It will be fine, I have my MOCA adapter right in front of my DOCSIS modem with zero issues. Also using 4 MOCA adapters throughout my house. Off one leg of the main splitter it goes MOCA then DOCSIS modem, all other legs have MOCA's on them.
Understandable, I think most people who buy Asus routers will continue to do so though. I don't think they are geared towards mom and pop users (who would take this info and immediately dismiss the brand) and target a more tech savvy crowd. For instance I don't know anyone who owns an Asus...
Serious question, I see this as a win for us. Why does it seem like people are upset by this? I do agree that 20 years seems to be a bit much but that's on Asus. What negatives would come from this that would affect the consumer?
I would get it replaced if you can. I've had it since launch and haven't had any issues with it besides one thing with the network map which resolved itself.
