[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Does anyone know if you can downgrade from 38x.xx to older firmware directly with mtd-write/mtd-write2 without using recovery mode and tftp?

Entware-3x for new HND platform (GT-AC5300 and RT-AC86U) with asuswrt-merlin firmware

Thanks for your work on Entware-3x, zyxmon. I'm running it on my EdgeRouter X and like it very much.

pixelserv pixelserv - A Better One-pixel Webserver for Adblock

Since it looks like you have an EdgeRouter-X and have published a pixelserv-tls binary for it in the past, can I ask a question about running it on that here? I'm running into what could be the "stuck" issue I've seen discussed, but it happens every couple of minutes for me, with v2.0.1, under...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Thanks, this answers my question! I was under the impression that the limitations on power levels with newer versions of the firmware were implemented in the driver itself, and that updating to a newer driver/SDK meant gimping your power level regardless of what the UI might say.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Yes, I am familiar with the first post in the thread. It doesn't answer my question.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I'm considering trying this fork out on an RT-AC68U; now that you've updated to a newer wireless driver in order to combat KRACK, what are the benefits of using this fork over RMerlin's builds? I'm aware of the "L" builds and understand how those could be beneficial, but I thought the older...

    [alpha] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.67 pre-beta test builds

    Looked at NordVPN?

Reduced my RT-AC68U cpu temp by -18c

Well, no. It would have to clog with so much dust that the temperatures with cooling were greater than the temperatures originally were without. It's highly unlikely.

ac66u infected with LuaBot - help please

Wait, you have an RT-AC66U? You got hit by an exploit in the various file sharing services in your firmware revision, but the CPU in that router is MIPS and therefore not capable of executing the final stage of the payload. You still need to clean this stuff up, but at least your router can't...

    380.62_x switching to other firmwares?

Pretty sure you'd need to use the firmware recovery mode for that.

    RT-AC66U 380.57 5Ghz Crashing under load

Replace the power supply. I highly recommend this one, as it's higher amperage than the original: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EMO9R5E/?tag=snbforums-20 I was having the same problems you describe on two separate RT-AC66Us I have in a bridge configuration. Replacing the power supplies on both...

[Preview] 380.57 alpha test builds for all models

If I have 2.4GHz disabled on my AC66, do I need to care about the breakage reported? I flashed alpha 4 yesterday and haven't had any issues.

kernel: br0: received packet on eth1 with own address as source address

I used to get this crap all the time on my RT-AC66U, usually accompanied by horrendous network slowdown only resolved by restart_wireless or a reboot, before I replaced the power supply. It stopped completely after that.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.56 Beta 1 is out

I don't have time to read all 100+ posts in the thread currently, but has anything been said about why the packed 378.56 beta 1 firmware is about 8 megs smaller than 378.55 for RT-AC66U? I don't see this kind of reduction in size for any of the images for other routers, so I fear that the copy...
