    Padavan's Custom Firmware

Download puTTY here http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html and connect to the router via SSH (don't forget to enable ssh server here http://my.router/Advanced_System_Content.asp ). Login with your usual username and password and enter top command. That way you'll see...

    Padavan's Custom Firmware

Hm. That's weird. You're the first one with such an issue. Do you have java installed? What exactly version of firmware do you use? Is it 018?

Nah, that must be some sort of httpd timeout. Close your tab and browswer and then restart it and type your login/pass again.

While I'm trying to find the proper terminal command to check the process list you can click the percentage near CPU LOAD field and tell me what eats cpu. Is it sirq?

Yup. Those 12 and 13 channels are for European region. Devices made for USA don't recognize those channels. Actually even devices which were made for Europe often have the same issue. They simply don't see those channels and that's a pretty widespread issue. That's why it was easy for me to...

KnawKB Change your Wi-Fi region in the router's settings to USA here: http://my.router/Advanced_Wireless2g_Content.asp - the last setting in this list. irvsp No, AFAIK you shouldn't use Force all the time. I'll check back with the guys at the russian forums later sicne I don't use this...

About the help: that's a legacy from Chinese firmware. As you may know, our WebGUI is actually a heavy reskin and deep restyle of the WebGUI form 1.x.x.x versions of official firmware. The help function in those versions was done in such a way that it is a major PITA to add new description for...

    Padavan's Custom Firmware

No-no. I'm talking about IPv4 UDP packets offload. It is disabled in ralink drivers by default due to infamous bug in some of the chipset revisions. UDP packets with zero checksums break logic in the HW_NAT chipset module and eventually are dropped. That's why if you enable UDP packets in...

    Padavan's Custom Firmware

Actually it does. It just isn't reflected in WebGUI. We're planning on creating a separate page with information about IPv6. If it wasn't working, you won't be able to resolve any IPv6 host. ('remote host not found' kind of message). It's not just 'without IPv6'. It is based on the older...

RMerlin, could you please elaborate on what's exactly odd about Comcast's implementation? I'm not exactly what you'd call a technomind, but looking into logs I simply see the IPoE connection and Stateless DHCPv6 with PD and RA enabled. Looks pretty ordinary to me. Are there some hidden quirks?

It looks like the issues of m00ster were resolved by disabling HW_NAT. That's interesting since we've got reports about malfunctioning HW_NAT and IPv6 only on PPPoE connections, not on IPoE. Investigation is in process :)

    Padavan's Custom Firmware

Hello, Jon! Could you please attach the full log from the router? You might want to use pastebin.com for that purpose. Also could you please give more details on the IPv6 implementation of your ISP? What WAN connection do you use? Is it IPoE or PPPoE? Is IPv6 native or runs through...

    Padavan's Custom Firmware

Ugh. Somehow I missed the last couple o' pages. SNB stopped the delivering of notifications about new posts. Weird. Anyhow: As you may have already noticed we've got IPv6 support here! It's already being tested actively and we've caught few bugs in different scenarios of IPv6 implementation...

    Padavan's Custom Firmware

@kenguru2005 In the end it was decided to enable HFS+ support by default. If you're feeling brave enough, you might want to try it out. As I said before: if you connect storage with journaling enabled, it'll be mounted but only in READ ONLY mode. If you'll disable journaling it'll be mounted in...
